During 2008 Tony Trembath (Australia) Torsten Jurell (Sweden) and myself have filled the bookings until mid November.
Tony has prepared a fabulous body of work for his solo exhibition in Beijing in 2009. Torsten is excited and currently is making work for a studio show in August. As artists visit Beijing they are overwhelmed by the opportunities for their arts practice. Studios are available for short and long stays to research, develop and even exhibit the results.
As the shortest day looms ever closer and the darkness continues to close in around, several bright stars light up the activities around Stony Creek and Huanghua studios. Excitement also envelopes Beijing as the intensity increases in anticipation of the Olympic Games.
From 5th June until 28th June is the last opportunity for 2008 to view the magnificent artwork of Associate Professor Sun Baijun.
Examples of his work can be viewed in the Gallery section under Exhibition Curator.
'Life and Nothingness' can be viewed at:
WellSpring Centre at 10 Y Street Ashburton Melbourne.
